Part Two: Washington, DC

After spending a month in North Cascades National Park, 19 high school students from across the country visited Washington, DC for part two of the Parks Climate Challenge. The students completed a demonstration service project on the National Mall and engaged with leaders at the Department of Interior, National Park Service and other federal agencies.

Nineteen urban youth connect with the North Cascades and witness impacts of climate change.
